Strengthening Global Business Ties in Uganda

Last week, members of the British Chamber of Commerce Uganda (BCCU) had the pleasure of connecting with the Japanese Business Association Uganda (JBAU) for an evening of networking, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

We were delighted to hear from our Honorary President, Lisa Chesney, MBE, the British High Commissioner to Uganda, who spoke about the enhanced UK-Japan Global Strategic Partnership—and the shared appreciation both nations have for a fine whisky!

Our Chair, Sanjay Rughani, shared exciting updates on BCCU’s recent achievements in growing our membership, deepening stakeholder engagement, and advocating for a more enabling business environment in Uganda.
